Welcome to my first blog post.
I suppose the idea behind this is to have a diary of some of the pieces of furniture I up-cycle.
I absolutely love painting furniture that others have given up on, and the fact that you can give a new lease of life to something which will then go on to give others great pleasure for many more years to come.
Today there seems to be an army of out us out there who feel the same way as I do, people who are bringing back forgotten crafts and skills, which in turn is helping us save our pennies, encouraging thriftiness and giving us back a feeling of respect for the things we own.
Anyway here's some pictures of a few of my makeovers, You might notice I give them names, Mmm?It started when the lady who does my accountants got confused over so many cream this & cream that's, so I decided to give each piece a name to help us identify what I had done.
